AdBux Membership Closes in on 900,000

No doubt, within the next 24 hours, AdBux will reach 900,000 members! While this is great news for AdBux, it’s even better news for our members! Not only is our member base about to reach 900,000 but, our advertiser base is growing as well. With more advertisers comes the opportunity to earn more points!

In addition, we’ll be launching Video Watch! Video Watch is for those who enjoy watching online videos and video snippets. In short, AdBux members will be presented with videos from around the globe and can earn points watching and rating online videos that interest them. The only requirement is that you select videos that are of interest to you and offer up your rating!

The next great thing on the horizon are coupons! Manufacturer’s will be offering coupons on AdBux later this year! In addition, we’ll be offering a shopping portal which will offer cash back on purchases. With the holidays around the corner, you’ll be shopping online anyway and you might as well earn points back on your purchases.

Please update your payment address for PayPal. Yes, we are now going to do a trial run with using PayPal for point redemption. In order to update your payment address, click on the Profile tab and simply insert your PayPal address.

On your stats page, you will discover that to the right of your stats, we are now displaying news, links to specific offers and of course, the AdBux Blog. Keep yourself updated by simply logging in and checking your stats page daily! The Point Redemption Gateway will re-open within a few days, as we close the audit on current redemption requests.

AdBux Under NEW Management!

Greetings:

My name is Paul and I am the new COO of AdBux. First, my apologies to ALL members who have waited patiently, as our new management team works in all areas of the site to institute changes, which were needed to keep up with the fast growth of AdBux. I assure each and every member that we are working diligently (seven days a week) to bring AdBux back to the forefront of the PTC industry.

I’m sure many have noticed the daily changes to our homepage, which is now updated with news and daily offer updates. The annoying blinking banner for lotto has been removed. Quite frankly, it was giving me a headache every time I landed on the page so, if it was annoying me, I’m sure it was annoying our users.

You may also have noticed that offers have been updated daily and while they don’t ALL offer 2 or 3 points, they do offer ease of use. In other words, you’ll earn 0.30 points to complete an offer, which may only requires an email address, as opposed to a long registration form. Complete enough offers on a daily basis and you could be redeeming 25 points each and every month.

What does a point equal? 1.00 equals ONE DOLLAR, if an offer generates 0.30 then the user has earned 30 cents, if an offer generates 0.50 then the user has earned 50 cents. If an ad generates 0.005 then the user has earned 1/2 a penny. While ads offer an a quick and easy way to earn points, OFFERS generate the highest point redemption available - in the shortest period of time.

What I won’t do is throw out examples of generating thousands of dollars per month, sitting at your computer by just surfing ads and completing a few offers. Yes, we have many Premium Members who do this for a living and their monthly point redemption requests exceed $300.00+ per month, however, for those users who have a full time job, the reality is perhaps $25.00 per month (or more) depending as to how much free time you have on your hands. Do want to generate enough points to pay for a tank of gas in 30 days or, do you want pay a car payment? It’s up to you.

This brings me to the subject of payment requests. As many may know, we opened up the payment request gateway a few weeks ago and finally completed auditing those accounts and those redemption requests are now completed. We will re-open the payment gateway on Monday and request that you submit your payment request for processing if it is in excess of 25 points.

The new auditing and anti-fraud security measures (put into place during the past few weeks) will ensure that AdBux remains a fraud-free environment. In fact, our new security measures will streamline the outgoing payment requests for our users.

Let’s talk about the changes at AdBux. When new ownership takes over a site as large as AdBux, it’s necessary to study every area of the site and improve those areas that need improvement. Please review the following changes to AdBux (and proposed changes) to take affect within the next few weeks:

a. AdBux Offers- We have a team dedicated to scouring NEW offers and we are reviewing each Offer to ensure it’s in compliance. In other words, if an OFFER states it is a FREE Offer but, may not be, we’ll remove that offer or add a disclosure in within its description. A sponsor can change an Offer mid-stream and as such, what was once a FREE Offer may now have a few extra hoops to jump through. We ask that all AdBux members also assist us in policing site-wide offers. If you come upon an offer which is not FREE - send us an email at support@adbux.org and we’ll remove it - if it’s not in compliance with our site guidelines and/or add an updated disclosure.

New members are now required to complete at least two offers per month. This has been put into affect, as if an established AdBux member is buying referrals, we want to ensure that those referrals will be active and have value to the established AdBux member. No doubt, we are also seeking to add offers for ALL countries. If you are a NEW AdBux member and do not have offers available in your country of origin, you are exempt from the 14-day requirement of completing one FREE offer. However, if an offer is available in your country of origin, you are required to complete at least two offers per month.

Points for completed offers are updated every 48-72 hours. If you do not immediatelysee credit for points deposited into your account (for offers you’ve completed) don’t be alarmed, as we have to manually upload the prior day’s accounting into AdBux. Once we upload the data into AdBux, it is carried over into your account within 48 to 72 hours.

b. Advertising other Bux Type sites on AdBux- As many members will notice, there is a counter on our homepage, which states how many new members sign-up each and every day on AdBux. As such, those promoting bux type sites have been flagged due to the simple fact that our security team has uncovered that the submitted ads are timed (daily) in relation to the number of new member sign-ups displaying on the AdBux homepage.

In other words, new and established AdBux members are being re-directed to other bux sites, which may NOT be legitimate sites. We are not in the business of promoting fraudulent bux sites and ads to promote such sites will no longer be approved.

No doubt, other bux sites are trying to gain market share and as such, they may post duplicate offers they’ve found on AdBux. While imitation is considered a form of flattery, I’m not flattered by those in this industry, who play back room games in foreign countries, counting their cash. This is why I will NOT allow bux sites to advertise on AdBux. If you’re an AdBux member and have joined our site to advertise other bux type sites, please, leave, as we’ll never approve your advertisement.

c. Payment Methods- To use PayPal or not to use PayPal - that is the question! PayPal is now accepting PTC sites again, however, how long will it last? Before taking over the reigns at AdBux, funds were frozen by PayPal and could not be accessed. What happened in this case is that members waited months for payment.

However, this being said, we may opt to send payments via PayPal but, may not accept incoming payments from members for referrals, leads and ads through PayPal. We’ll keep all members updated as to if we will use PayPal for point redemption payment requests. We may test this process within the next seven days.

We use Alert Pay and will (in some cases) require new members and even established members to confirm their identity. Remember, we have to ensure that every payment that is processed is actually being received by a real person.

During our audit we discovered users who abused the system. In one case, we found a user who resides in Hungary, who thought it was fun to try and “bux” the system. Our new auditing and fraud prevention procedures stopped him in his tracksand he was none to happy. This is my point. I am transforming AdBux into the ONLY trusted PTC site on the net. Yes, it will take time (not months - weeks) to complete this task and I have a full team of dedicated professionals working around the clock to get the task completed.

I will add more updates to this blog entry and I invite all members to leave comments on this entry for review. We are open to any and all suggestions to make AdBux the greatest PTC site on the web!

Important Notice Concerning Referral and Ad Payments..

For NEW Members…We are receiving email notifications from NEW members who are concerned that AdBux has not yet processed their order for referrals and/or ads. We do not send a payment request via email to request payment.

Members must process payment at the time of placing their order…

Members must process payment at time of check-out for an order to be deemed completed and processed. We will remove ad and referral orders within 24 hours of non-receipt of payment in order to release ad space and referrals to Premium Members waiting in the queue. Non-payment of ads and referrals will result in termination of account, as per AdBux Terms of Service. Accounts, which are temporarily suspended, will be re-activated upon receipt of payment.

If you have not yet paid for your referrals (or ad space), please, login to your account and process payment through AlertPay. Next week, we’ll be launching our Pay Bux Rewards X-Change (stateside merchant processing account), which will streamline the check-out process. Payment Updates

Dear AdBux Members,

We’ve added Authorize.net as our main credit card processor. Authorize.net is currently active on all the account enhancers and advertisement purchases. Authorize.net accepts all major credit cards, so you won’t have to go through a processor like MoneyBookers or AlertPay to use your credit card.

We will also be testing our cashout system within the next few days and will allow several or more cashouts at the current share value of $0.50/share. We will not disclose when the page will be opened or when we close it, but we anticipate hundreds of payouts over the next couple of months until we fully launch the cashout system.

We will only accept cashouts that have a monetary value of $25.00 USD or more. Therefore, if each share is worth $0.50, than you will need to have at least 50 shares to cashout.

Updates & Announcements
We’ve finally launched the latest version of AdBux with a ton of changes and with changes still in development. Here are the latest updates:

Revenue Share
The revenue share program is a system we developed to give AdBux users the majority of the entire AdBux monthly revenue divided amongst the given shares. This revenue doesn’t just account for clicks and completed offers but all income including premium account purchases, autoline subscriptions, purchased leads, purchased referrals, 3rd party advertising and more.

New Ad System
Users who purchase advertising now have a range of new options including setting the amount of visits they want, up to 1 minute session verified timers, optional geo-targeting, ability to pause ads, add daily limits/caps, ability to renew expired ads with 1 click, ability to advertise ADULT content (users can’t view adult content without verifying age and selecting the “Adult” interest option)

New Payment Structure
We will now process payments on a daily basis. Premium users have to wait up to 72 hours from their time of cashout and regular users will have to wait up to 30 days. Over the next couple of months we will be waiting for the share value to mature before we start the payment process and after this time, we will allow cashouts.

Jackpot Changes
The jackpot has been modified for one single grand prize and 75% of the jackpot. Check out the jackpot page for more information.

Profile Changes
The profile has changed a bit to allow room for Age & Gender for future targeting purposes and to verify ages for users who are interested in viewing Adult ads.

Messenger Changes
You can now include links in messages sent to your downline. This is beneficial to users who want to advertise their own programs and advertise certain AdBux pages. Purchasing leads from AdBux will give you genuine, e-mail verified users in your downline that you will be able to message/e-mail. This is not to be used for spam purposes. Asking your downline if they would like to know more information about your opportunity or website and only advertising to those who want to know more, is the best way to avoid spam and abuse.

Leads Changes
Leads are now $0.25 per lead because of the increased messenger functions.

Along with a total re-format of the Support page we have also introduced LIVE support via AIM. The AIM username is “AdBuxSupport”. We should also be introducing a support forum later this week.

The messenger will automatically send the message to their e-mail address.

What is AdBux?
AdBux is a new innovative, international and FREE English based service that allows advertisers to reach thousands of potential customers by connecting with their interests and offering them a monetary incentive for their time.

How does it work?
You view websites in 0 - 30 second sessions via the links displayed on the ads page within the "Browse Ads" area. Once the session is up, you'll either get a green dollar sign or a red 'X'. The dollar sign means you've earned money for the visit and the 'X' means you have not earned money for the visit. You'll get red X's when you have more than link open at a time... When this happens, you get no credit.

Can I have more than one account?
No. There is no need to maintain more than one account. If you've lost your login information, you can request to have it sent to your e-mail address. If you are caught with more then one account open (we have a very strict auditing process before monthly payments are sent) your account(s) will be terminated, your ip address(es) will be possibly be banned and you will not receive any earnings.

Can other people in my household join?
As long as they each have their own computer and e-mail address, this is fine. As far as cheating goes, our software detects users who create fictitious accounts and use the same computer so if someone else in your household wants to join and will legitimately use their account; you shouldn't be flagged for abuse.

My network, school or ISP all use the same or randomly used IP addresses, can I join?
The same general rule applies from the previous question... However, we do not recommend that you use AdBux on networks that use shared computers because we only allow one computer per user and your account will more then likely be banned if you use a computer that is already registered to an AdBux account.

How much money can I make?
The maximum amount you can make per click as a premium member is up to 1.5 cents per click ($0.015) for each website you visit and up to 1.5 cents per click ($0.015) for each website your referrals visit. There is no limit in the amount of websites you visit or referrals that you obtain. Furthermore, as a premium member, you will earn commissions on advertising, commissions on upgrades and commissions on un-referred user purchases. Your earning possibilities are virtually endless.

How do I refer others?
Use your unique referral code found within the "My AdBux" area.

I can't see any ads!
If you see no ad links on the ads page but you DO see a place holder for the ads then you need to disable all antivirus and antispyware/adware programs. If you're using firefox, make sure you don't have a plugin called "AdBlock" turned on while at this site. The word "AD" in "AdBux" is causing the links to be blocked or filtered. If this doesn't work, try cleaning your cache, temp files, cookies, etc. If you're still having problems after all of that, try changing or updating your browser.

My stats aren't updating!
This is either because your browser is saving the page in it's cache or you're not waiting for the dollar sign to appear after the timer is complete. Try cleaning your cache, temp files, cookies, etc. If you're still having problems after all of that, try changing or updating your browser.

I keep getting "Invalid verification code entered." when I try to register or login!
First, make sure you are correctly typing in the verification code. If you are typing in the correct code and still having problems then it's something to do with your browser caching the previously used session image. Try cleaning your cache, temp files, cookies, etc. If you're still having problems after all of that, try changing or updating your browser.

Do you have any banners that I can use to promote my referral link?
You can either use the banners listed in the forum (DO NOT HOTLINK!) or you can make your own.

How often are the statistics updated?

How do I get paid?

When do I get paid?
